Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Trusko website at https://trusko.app (the "Site") and the Trusko application at https://my.trusko.app (the "Service"), operated by Smart Mobile Software ("Trusko", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

2. Description of Service

Trusko provides a platform that connects to your Vanta account to generate and host a public-facing trust center page displaying your compliance posture. The Service includes:

  • Integration with Vanta via OAuth to sync compliance data
  • A customizable public trust center page hosted at a URL you configure
  • A dashboard for managing your trust center content and settings
  • Automatic syncing of compliance framework status from Vanta

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to misrepresent your compliance status or security posture
  • Display false or misleading information on your trust center page
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you provide to the Service (logos, custom text, configuration). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to display this content on your public trust center page and within the Service as necessary to operate the platform.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to display any content on your trust center page, including compliance badges and framework status synced from Vanta.

5. Vanta Integration

The Service accesses your Vanta account data through Vanta's API using OAuth authorization. By connecting your Vanta account:

  • You authorize Trusko to read your compliance framework status and related data
  • You acknowledge that the accuracy of synced data depends on your Vanta account being current
  • You may revoke Trusko's access to your Vanta account at any time through your Vanta settings

Trusko is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Vanta, Inc.

6. Payment and Billing

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing:

  • You agree to pay the fees associated with your selected plan
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us at hello@trusko.app

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by Smart Mobile Software and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • The data synced from Vanta will always be accurate or current
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trusko shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination:

  • Your public trust center page will be taken offline
  • Your data will be deleted within 30 days (unless retention is required by law)
  • Any outstanding payment obligations remain in effect

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
